Senior Winter Games with and for Seniors

MARK YOUR CALENDARS: The fun starts Sunday, February 9, when the 40th Senior Winter Games in Summit County holds its traditional, but never boring, silent auction/dinner/opening ceremonies at the Summit County Community and Senior Center in Frisco. The fun and games continue on Monday at Keystone with the skating events at the Dercum Ice Rink in River Run and downhill skiing events on Dercum Mountain.

On Tuesday, the Frisco Adventure Park hosts the Nordic events, including snowshoeing, cross country skiing, biathlon, and the snowball throw. In the afternoon, the SCCSC hosts the Award’s Ceremony. New events are being planned, so be sure to check out the website: Summit Winter Games 2020 for the latest information and registration forms. You can also register at the SCCSC. This year you can pay the $35 registration fee and $20 dinner cost with a credit card at the SCCSC. All proceeds from the event fund programs that support seniors in Summit County. Be there or miss out on a lot of camaraderie and good clean competition!
