It's time to seriously think about and nominate your candidates for the Most Improved Skier and the Nancy Macey Spirit Award.
DEADLINE to get in a vote for your nominees: Thursday March 8
IMPORTANT: A few words why you believe the person should receive either award MUST be included with your nomination!
HOW TO SUBMIT your recommendations (The committee really, really relies on everyone's input):
1 FILL OUT A NOMINATION FORM which will be available at apres ski parties and put it in the Awards Nominations envelope.
2 EMAIL, CALL or TALK to any Awards Committee member. Names to be announced
RECIPIENTS will be announced at the Loosey Goosey apres ski party on March 22.
In the event you are not familiar with these coveted awards, here's what they are about:
The Most Improved Skier Award: This memorial award is given in honor of Kay Christensen, a late member and admired ski instructor. This year, who have you seen work hard and steadily improve? Runners-up are always acknowledged, so be sure to let the committee know who you have seen work hard to improve!
The Nancy Macey Spirit Award: Nancy Macey Spirit Award (formerly called the Will and Lil Award) honors the member(s) who most stands out that year as exemplifying all that Nancy’s friendly, inclusive, helpful, tireless, unending spirit was all about and what LGG continues to strive to be about.
Again, the DEADLINE to submit your recommendations is MARCH 8.
