This past season, the Awards
Committee, under the guidance of Margaret Johnson Greene announced three major
awards: a special Appreciation Award went to Steve Ladin for the tireless work
he did to ensure the existence of Loosey Goosey after Over The Hill Ski Gang International
went out of business by working to affiliate Loosey Goosey with the Summit
County Senior Citizens, Inc.
Last season’s award recipient for Most Improved
Skier was Catherine Hubble, from Frisco, who made great strides in her mastery
of steeps and especially moguls. You can see her all over Breck, Copper, and
Keystone challenging the steeps and moguls.
Last year’s Nancy Macey Award winners were Don DeVries, chairman of Loosey Goosey for over 6 years and Diane Rossi, Loosey Goosey après ski party coordinator. Their helpfulness, friendliness and unending enthusiasm for Loosey Goosey made them the 2019 choice for the Nancy Macey Spirit Award.
